The Gladiators welcome Reading Raiders to the Farmborough Rec for their first home game of the season in the 2021 West of England league. The game will kick off at 14:30 and the Gladiators are delighted that the removal of Covid restrictions spectators are welcome to come along and cheer the team on.
Bath Gladiators still have a sizeable injury list in what seems to be the common theme of their season so far, so Head coach Matt Bodey will have to shuffle his back once again for a Reading team who have recorded 2 wins out of 2 so far. Although, Bodey welcomes back Michael Salter and Joe Cockshott back from injury for todays game.
Despite Bath Gladiators looking for their first win after 2 narrow away defeats to Swindon and Oxford, Head Coach Matt Bodey isn’t fazed by the challenge against Reading “We’re looking forward to welcoming a strong Reading side for our first home game at Farmborough Rec, with the squad looking to build consistency within the positive areas of our game that we’ve shown in the last 2 fixtures. Its really nice to be able to have spectators again, which I know the boys have been looking forward to, and hopefully they’ll give us that extra bit of energy to get the result.”
The forecast for todays game is beautiful sunshine so spectators will should offer a great rugby day out for spectators to come along and cheer the boys on. Fans can either buy tickets online or at the venue.
